In the spirit of reconciliation, Thompson Minor Hockey Association Board of Directors acknowledge that we, our players and volunteers live, work and play on the traditional territory of the Nisichawayaihk Cree Nation. It is also the home of the Cree, Dene, and Métis Nation. We recognize and commemorate September 30, 2022 as the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today and everyday, we honour the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Today is a day that serves as a reminder of the painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools. We humbly encourage our TMHA community to learn, share, and participate in meaningful action toward Truth and Reconciliation to recognize this day.
